By accessing or using this website and our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you are prohibited from using this website or any related services.

1. Definitions

"Site" refers to our website, online bookstore, submission portals, and any associated domains.
"User" refers to any person or entity accessing the Site, whether as a visitor, customer, or author.
"Author" refers to individuals submitting original content for potential publication.
"Content" includes all materials on the Site, including books, blog posts, images, audio, text, graphics, and code.

2. Legal Age and Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older, or have legal parental/guardian consent, to use this Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement and are fully able and competent to enter into a legally binding agreement.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this Site, including logos, graphics, books, designs, and website code, is the exclusive property of Underground Press or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, transmit, or distribute any content from this Site without express written permission. Authors retain rights to their original submissions unless otherwise transferred via contract.

4. Submission & Publishing Terms

When you submit work (e.g. poetry, manuscripts, stories, audio recordings) to Underground Press for publishing consideration, you acknowledge and agree:

You are the sole author or have secured all necessary rights to submit the work.
The work does not infringe upon any third-party rights, including copyright or intellectual property.
Submission does not guarantee publication. All accepted works will be subject to a separate publishing agreement.
For collaborative projects, contributors agree to shared authorship under terms negotiated in good faith and documented in writing.
Underground Press reserves the right to edit, format, design, market, and distribute accepted works.

5. Store Purchases & Payment Terms

All prices listed are in INR and subject to change without notice.
Payment must be completed via our approved payment processors UPI, third party payment gateways and Debit/Credit cards.
Digital Products (eBooks, audiobooks) are non-refundable once delivered or downloaded.
Physical Products may be returned only if defective, damaged, or incorrect. Return requests must be submitted within 4 days of delivery.
Underground Press is not liable for delivery delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or third-party service providers.

6. Author Royalties and Compensation

Royalties and compensation for published works are governed by separate agreements. Authors will be paid in accordance with the terms outlined in their individual contracts.

Underground Press will provide regular reporting and payment schedules for royalty-eligible works.

7. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
Upload any content that is obscene, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or unlawful.
Attempt to interfere with the Site’s servers, security, or operations.
Use the Site for any commercial solicitation without prior consent.
Copy, scrape, or aggregate content from the Site using automated means.

Violations may result in suspension or permanent banning from the Site.

8. Privacy

Use of our Site is governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data. By using this Site, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Links & Services

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for use of the Site or purchase of products/services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Gujarat, India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Indian Jurisdiction.
